PMAWM offers a wide variety of maintenance training and certifications such as the following. EPA Sec 608 Certification: This course is intended to satisfy EPA requirements for an approved level of instruction in the area of environmental protection. All maintenance personnel handling refrigerant must be certified through an EPA approved program. Cost: $129 = Members/ $159= Non-Members R410A Training & Cerfification: Learn how to make smart financial decisions for your company. HFCs such as R-410A, R-407C and R-134a are the refrigerants of choice for this generation. Learn alternatives to having to use R-410A which require all new recovery equipment and techniques. R-410A operates at 40 to 70 percent higher pressures; safety is most certainly a factor for any service person handling the equipment. Topics to be covered:
Hands-On-Training Workshops: In partnership with our member suppliers, PMAWM offers an entry level hands on training event in the fall. A discount is provided for attendees who stay all day. Cost: TBD CAMT, CERTIFIED APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - HANDS ON TRAINING Local. Affordable. Property Maintenance Technician. The PMAWM partners with the Thompson M-TEC Career and Corporate Training team to offer CAMT, and National Apartment Association (NAA) designation, to our members at their fully equip Careerline Tech Center. The Property Maintenance Technician program provides hands-on training to prepare students to obtain the Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) certification. Qualified instructors teach the skills required to enter the growing Apartment Maintenance Technician field or maintain a private residence. Modules:
