This committee is responsible for planning and promoting educational seminars and workshops that are instrumental in the success of Managers, Leasing Consultants and Maintenance Staff throughout west Michigan.

Monitoring legislative issues at the local level is another primary initiative of PMA of West Michigan. This committee is responsible for building relationships with legislators, monitoring issues affecting the industry and planning and promoting legislative receptions.

Market Surveys

Each quarter a report is distributed to members of PMA of West Michigan based on the feedback of our members with regard to occupancy percentages and rental rates. Members of this committee encourage participation explaining that this report is a valuable tool indicating maket trends with regard to future development and in the filing of property tax appeals.

Each year the event has a different theme determined by the committee members. These committees plan, coordinate and promote community outreach for "Back to School" supplies for Mel Trotter and non-perishable food donations for God's Kitchen. The committees also plan and promote the PMA Annual Auction with which proceeds support the legislative efforts of the PMA.
